Frequently Asked Questions
Are the answers always whole numbers?
Yes. Division problems are built backwards from a multiplication, so they always divide exactly and never by zero. Subtraction problems swap their operands when needed so the answer stays at or above zero, unless you tick "Allow negative answers".
How do I get the answer key?
Tick Show answers and the same problems reappear with their solutions filled in. Because the sheet is regenerated from a fixed seed, the answer key always matches the worksheet you just printed — nothing is reshuffled when you toggle it.
Can I recreate the same worksheet later?
Yes. Every sheet shows a seed number under its title. As long as you keep the same operations, number range and problem count, that seed produces exactly the same problems in the same order — useful for printing extra copies or making the answer key later.
Why is the multiplication range limited?
Multiplication is capped at a maximum operand of 100 to keep the sheets usable as practice. Beyond that the products become long multi-digit numbers that are more about arithmetic stamina than learning the operation. Addition, subtraction and division accept numbers up to 1000.
