How to Use
- 1 Add an expense by clicking the Add tab. Enter the amount, date, description, and select a category and payment method.
- 2 View your dashboard to see summary cards showing spending for today, this week, this month, and this year.
- 3 Analyze with charts showing category breakdown (pie chart) and monthly spending trends (bar chart).
- 4 Filter and sort your expenses by category, payment method, date range, or amount.
- 5 Export to CSV for use in spreadsheets or accounting software.

Where is my expense data stored?
All data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server, ensuring complete privacy.

Yes! In addition to 12 default categories, you can create unlimited custom categories with your own names, colors, and icons.
How do I export my expenses?
Use the Export CSV button on the Expenses tab. The exported file includes date, description, category, payment method, amount, and tags.
Can I filter expenses by date range?
Yes, use the From and To date filters on the Expenses tab to view expenses within any date range. You can also filter by category and payment method.
